MiS is a device with never-before-seen performance, capable of combining the synchronized action of MLS® Laser Therapy with Hilterapia® distinctive pulsed power.

The very high, instantaneous peak power and a controlled average power are consistent with the choice of pursuing efficacy while safeguarding patients’ safety. The modulation in short pulses allows in fact to “tame” the peak power, taking advantage of its therapeutic benefits in complete safety, avoiding damaging thermal effects.

In addition to the therapeutic characteristics typical of the MLS® family, MiS finds an application in peripheral neuropathies, as demonstrated by ASAcampus scientific research.

The application of MiS in a recognized model of chronic neuropathic pain shows a clear and lasting reduction in pain symptomatology, accompanied by functional recovery.From the biological point of view, the treatment with MiS promotes the recovery of the nerve fibres that have been damaged in the lesion area, as confirmed by histological and immunohistochemical evaluations. Mphi 5 enables a double treatment, including simultaneous: the handpiece (Target Area with a 2 cm diameter) acts on the pain points and on the trigger points while the Charlie multidiode applicator (Target Area with a 5 cm diameter) evenly activates large volumes of tissue, such as for example important muscle portions or entire joints. The fixed targeting system of the Charlie multidiode applicator offers the additional advantage of acting independently.

The therapist is facilitated in the choice of treatment thanks to the pre-set therapeutic programs: 3 different methods of use are offered in “Pain management” and an additional 2 for oedema treatment and for bio-stimulation. It is also possible to customise the treatments according to the “phototype” and to the patient’s body-shape.
