Mya Flanges
A good breast flange fit may make pumping more comfortable which will help you to express more milk. If pumping causes discomfort, even on a low suction setting, you may need a different breast flange size. Ameda Mya offers 3 flanges sizes to help you achieve maximum pumping effectiveness.

Mya Valves
Valves are designed to preserve pump suction while allowing milk to flow into a milk collection container. To ensure the best performance of your breast pump, we recommend replacing valves every 8-12 weeks, depending on cleaning and use.

Product category: Neonatal care equipment
Mya Back-flow Protector or Diaphragm Assembly
The Ameda Mya back-flow protector or diaphragm assembly is an important part of keeping milk safe in our closed system breast pumps. They act as a solid barrier to prevent air, moisture, and milk from entering into pump tubing. This keeps the “wet” side and the “dry” side of the breast pump separate. Compatible with all Ameda® Mya breast pumps and milk collection system.

Product category: Neonatal care equipment
Mya Tubing
Silicone tubing connects the pump to the Ameda Mya Milk Collection System. With the closed system, milk does not enter the tubing.

Company details
Ameda – THE FIRST NAME IN BREAST PUMPS!
More than 75 years ago, Swedish engineer, Einar Egnell made it his life’s work to help breastfeeding moms. After years of research, Egnell created the first comfortable and effective breast pump that closely mimics the suckling rhythm of nursing infants. In the process, Egnell also created the vacuum and cycling standards that have since become the industry benchmark.
