We offer sensor solutions for a multitude of applications and industries in the area of pressure sensing. Our standard pressure sensor product range comprises board-mount OEM pressure sensors, ready-to-mount pressure sensor modules and packaged pressure transmitters for the measurement of differential, relative or absolute pressure as well as vacuum in various pressure ranges.

In medical technology our pressure sensors are for example used for respirators (CPAP), in pulmonary function testing in spirometers, for pressure and flow control in anesthesia, in insufflators, in alternating pressure systems in hospital beds, in hyperbaric oxygen therapy or in IPK systems for compression therapy.

AMS 5915 – Board-Mount Pressure Sensor with I2C Output
The pressure sensors in the AMS 5915 series are high-precision OEM sensors with a digital I2C-output for pressure and temperature data. With its I2C output and 3.3 V supply voltage they are especially suitable for microcontroller applications. They are extensively calibrated and temperature compensated and can be used for pressure measurements in non-corrosive liquids and gases.

AMS 5915 comes in a ceramic dual in-line package for assembly on printed circuit boards (PCBs). Pressure is connected via vertical metal tubes as pressure ports for hose connection or using O-rings on a suitable flange.

The sensors in the AMS 5915 series are available for various applications and pressure ranges: differential (relative) devices in pressure ranges from 0 … 5 mbar up to 0 … 1 bar, absolute pressure variants for 0 … 500 mbar up to 0 … 2 bar and a barometric type. Bidirectional differential devices are available in pressure ranges from -2.5 … 2.5 mbar up to -1 … 1 bar. Custom specific pressure ranges or modifications (e.g. with 5 V supply voltage) are available on request.

AMS 6916 – Mini Pressure Sensor with Ratiometric Analog Output (0.5 – 4.5 V)
The pressure sensors from the AMS 6916 series with analog output are small, precise and versatile. They feature a short circuit protected, ratiometric 0.5 … 4.5 V voltage output with diagnostic functions indicating sensor errors in a compact DIL-package for PCB assembly. Pressure can either be applied by using horizontal or vertical pressure ports.

All AMS 6916 are digitally calibrated, linearized and temperature compensated and achieve a small total error band together with excellent long term stability.

AMS 6916 sensors are available for all pressure types in various pressure ranges: differential / relative pressure sensors in ranges from 0 … 5 mbar up to 0 … 1 bar, absolute pressure sensors for 0 … 500 mbar and 0 … 1 bar and a barometric type (700 … 1200 mbar). Bidirectional differential pressure sensors are offered in ranges from -5 … +5 mbar up to -1 … +1 bar. Custom specific pressure ranges or further modifications are available on request.

The robust AMS6916 are especially suitable for precise low and medium differential pressure measurements in applications, where a consequent miniaturization and an analog output are required.

AMS 6915 – Mini Pressure Sensor with digital I2C-output and 3.3 V or 5.0 V voltage supply
The board-mount pressure sensors from the AMS 6915 series with I2C-output in a compact DIL-package are very versatile. They are suitable for the measurement and monitoring of line and therapy pressure as well as air and gas flow. Possible applications in the field of medical technology are respirators (CPAP), spirometers, pressure and flow control in anesthesia, insufflators, alternating pressure systems in hospital beds, devices for hyperbaric oxygen therapy as well as IPK-systems for compression therapy. The AMS 6915 are especially suitable for precise low pressure and standard pressure measurements in digital systems.

The AMS 6915 series combines a high quality piezoresistive pressure sensing element with a modern mixed-signal ASIC on a ceramic substrate. The sensors are calibrated and temperature compensated and feature an operating temperature range from -25 to 85 °C as well as a low overall error in a temperature range of 0 … 60 °C. They are ideal for microcontroller applications with their digital I2C output and the supply voltage of 3.3 V or 5 V.

The AMS 6915 sensors are available for all pressure types in various pressure ranges: differential / relative pressure sensors from 0 … 5 mbar up to 0 … 1 bar, absolute pressure sensors for 0 … 1 bar and 700 … 1200 mbar (barometric). AMS 4711 is a series of miniaturized pressure transmitters with a non-ratiometric 0 … 5 V output especially suitable for low-pressure applications. They come in a robust dust- and water-tight plastic package (IP67) with barbed side ports for pressure connection and a M5 circular sensor connector for electrical connection. All AMS 4711 can be powered within a wide supply voltage range of 8 … 36 V.

The AMS 4711 pressure transmitters are calibrated and temperature compensated in a wide temperature range of -25 … 85 °C and feature high accuracy at room temperature as well as a low overall error throughout the entire compensated temperature range.

AMS 3011 is a series of matchbox sized pressure transmitters with 0 … 5 V voltage output in a robust dust- and water-tight (IP67) metal package. AMS 3011’s pressure ports are realized by two M5 female threads and the electrical connection by M5 circular sensor connector. The mini transmitters are especially suitable for differential pressure measurement with large common-mode pressure in indoor and outdoor applications. The AMS 3011 can be powered within a wide supply voltage range of 8 … 36 V.

All AMS 3011 are calibrated and temperature compensated in a range of -25 … 85 °C and feature high accuracy at room temperature as well as a low overall error throughout the entire compensated temperature range.
