Bosphore Thrombophilia Panel Kits are multiplex kits for detection of FVL, FII (Prothrombin), MTHFR C677T and MTHFR A1298C simultaneously.

Fast extraction version of the kit enables the users to get the results in less than 2 hours including genomic DNA extraction, a solution which is both cost effective and time saving. The users do not need to use DNA extraction kits. Fast extraction reagent is already included in the kit content.

Magnesia® 2448 Extraction and PCR Setup System

DNA extraction and PCR preparation systems are designed to precisely process all steps required for these complex and time consuming applications on an automated platform. Sample pipetting, reagent dispensing, magnetic particle pipetting, separation and washing and the final transfer of the obtained DNA to the PCR tubes are performed in an environment protected from contamination.

Based on our proven sample processing technology, the Magnesia 2448 Nucleic Acid Extraction & PCR Set-up equipment was designed to increase safety and throughput of complex and time consuming preparation of DNA amplification procedures. The system incorporates a high precision 4-channel pipetting system with disposable tips for transfer and mixing of samples and reagents capable of piercing sealed microplates, microplate shaker/incubators to accommodate standard and deep well microplates and cooling modules for PCR tubes and reagent containers.

With its robust and open design, Magnesia is the starting point for various applications. All patented; specially designed incubators, magnetic racks, shakers, reagent carriers and active cooling racks share the SBS standards for easy reagent and sample plate transfer. Empty channels between the modules eliminate the risk of contamination. Different types of sample tubes, thanks to individually controlled pipettes and liquid level detection system.

Predefined travel routes keep the pipette head away from the samples and reagents, while carrying a used pipette tip. UV lamps are strong enough to provide sufficient UV decontamination of the worktable in just 15 minutes. The tip and plate carrier modules are removable on their rails, and stainless steel worktable can be easily cleaned, if needed.

Barcode readers, pre-filled and sealed reagents, liquid level and pipette tip detectors, pressure sensors prevent any user-induced errors and ensure the operational reliability. Actively cooled 3 separate closed chambers keep the agents, eluted nucleic acids and PCR plates as 2-4 degrees during the whole process. Excess DNA/RNA that is not used during the PCR setup is stored in barcoded plates to be identified and used in the future assays. The discharged tips are disinfected to keep the disposal box free of contamination.
