C. difficile is a spore-forming, opportunistic pathogen. Infections have symptoms ranging from mild diarrhea to pseudomembranous colitis, toxic megacolon, and death.
PCR|ONE offers ultrafast PoC panel for detection of C. difficile from a rectal swab. In addition, it determine the presence of four different toxin coding genes and differentiation of highly virulent NAP1 strain.
