G.SAMARAS SA manufactures medical air compressor systems according to EN ISO 7396-1 and HTM 02-01.The medical compressed air plant provides a reliable and constant air supply, without the transport and management costs associated with heavy gas cylinders. A wide range of models are available to satisfy all sites of installations. The plants are designed to operate at a maximum of 10 bar. All range includes duplex components to ensure constant operation of the system.All systems are manufactured according to the projects needs, whereas the available subsystems (elements) are the following:

Compressors (Screw / Piston / Scroll / Oil free / Oil bath). Range:1 – 120Hp

Medical gas terminal units / outlets
Outlets are installed at the final delivery points in a medical gas pipeline system. They are used by the medical personnel to supply the various medical gases. The two-part outlets are composed of the base part and the finishing part.

The base part, made of chrome-plated brass, consists of:

Automatic shut-off valve for maintenance to permit replacement of the finishing part without having to interrupt gas delivery to other outlets
Threaded inlet connection, specific for each type of gas, complete with nut, mouthpiece and copper tube suited for braze-welding to the pipeline system
Threaded outlet connection, specific for each type of gas, for connection to the finishing part.

Chromium–plated brass body, inner and outer tube in polycarbonate, stainless steel float, other parts in brass, polyamide and NBR. This equipment compensates the variations of pressure of the pipeline since it admits all the pressure of the line, maintains the pressure and it provides to the patient the selected flow under atmospheric pressure, through the mask, nasal catheter, humidifier, etc.

Vacuum regulator-high vacuum
High vacuum regulator with a precision-control mechanism to ensure a high-stability and accuracy. Comes with an ON/OFF switch for quick opening and closing. Water trap made of polycarbonate (SafetyTrap PC) with overflow safety system and high efficency particle filter. Materials: body in ABS + PC, vacuum gauge cover in PC, O-rings in NBR and silicone, pneumatic mechanism in POM and TPE, inlet thread female WGAS ¼” in chromed-plated brass. Options: – Hydrophobic antibacterial and antiviral filter (Bacterial Filter) O.D. 15 mm / 9 mm. – Diss connector. High flow suction regulator. High stability and accuracy.

Anaesthetic gas scavenging systems (AGSS)
The Anesthetic Gas Scavenging System (AGSS) removes anesthetic gas mixtures from operation theatres and recovery areas protecting the medical staff from possible long term health hazards. All systems are manufactured according to EN ISO 7396-2 and 9170-2.
