We are characterised by creative product design and engineering. A factor for success in the product creation process is subject-specific consulting, so that the design of the items and components is already orientated towards the criteria of cost-effective, weightoptimised, production-optimised and functional at the start of product realisation.

TOOL AND EQUIPMENT CONSTRUCTION

The GPE Group can offer its customers a wide range in the repair and manufacturing of injection moulds and tools. We can offer our customers everything, from the maintenance and repair of injection moulds and tools to shape changes of existing injection moulds and tools to the manufacturing of prototypes, single and series tools.

A core area of expertise of the GPE Group is the manufacture of prototype tools and functional models, which we plan and implement together with our customers in the course of development and design.

We develop and build a wide variety of equipment for the GPE Group’s production. From installation, welding and testing equipment to measuring equipment, we can build special equipment for you for every item and its specific requirements.

PLASTIC & SILICONE INJECTION MOULDING
The GPE Group has more than 85 injection moulding machines with closing forces of between 62kN and 5000kN. Our material expertise extends across a wide variety of thermoplastics, duroplasts and elastomers.

We can offer you a wide range, from standard thermoplastics for use in normal temperatures of 420°C. Thanks to its materials expertises, the GPE Group can formulate materials suitable to requirements for special uses.

Of course, we as a system supplier are happy to offer you the assembly, packaging and logistics of the finished plastic parts. Our ERP system and a graphic control terminal ensure a smooth production process as well as deadline-compliant and reliable execution of our customer orders.

Coatings

From the common main processes of galvanisation to pickling and burning, blasting, grinding and polishing, a wide variety of varnishing processes, film coatings, in-mould painting and film reverse ejection moulding, with us you will find the suitable solution for your products.

Printing

From the usual printing processes found on the market such as the pad printing process, laser marking and ink-jet printing to customised solutions.

Electropolishing processes

With electrolytes specially tailored to the respective metal to be processed.

METAL & SHEET METAL WORKING
An extensive portfolio of manufacturing processes is available to you in our core area of expertise, metal and sheet metal working.

From procurement to fabrication and finishing to assembly and subsequent packaging and logistics, we can help our customers in every process step and contribute to the satisfaction of all involved.

FINE MECHANICS

Our fine mechanics department – which can look back at more than 100 years of history and experience in processing a wide variety of materials – is available to customers of the GPE Group for complex turned and cut parts in the areas of small-scale production and for prototype constructions.

The assembly of individual parts, modules and systems made of the materials plastic, silicone, sheet and metal into complex modules and complete devices or products is among the GPE Group’s core areas of expertise.

With our extensive technology portfolio, we can offer both technical installations and installation activities for medical equipment and products, which, in line with requirements, are implemented under cleanroom and controlled area conditions up to class 7 in accordance with DIN EN ISO 14644-1 and considering ESD.

From standard components to semi-finished products and complex mechanical and electrical component and sub-systems to ready-packed and sellable products, the GPE Group offers you the complete solution for procurement, assembly, testing and provision according to your requirements and performs physical tests (mechanical, electronic, climatic) or fluid tests (pressure, temperature, resistance) using optical sensors and measurement test stations. Should there be no means of testing and measuring procedure for a product to be assembled, we develop and build it in the GPE Group.

• Test room for high and low-pressure testing (water pressure testing up to 500bar; air pressure testing up to 300bar)
