Diagnostic plate readers
Diagnostic plate readers tailored to your needs
Labrox diagnostic plate readers offer many benefits over competing products. As our readers design is based on modular subunits we can easily configure a reader with the measuring technologies of your choice. Typical Labrox diagnostic-readers feature a combination of absorbance, fluorescence and luminescence. Choose any combination of modules to get your mix of detection modes, all with excellent performance.

Current choices include absorbance, fluorescence, luminescence, time-resolved fluorescence, fluorescence polarization and upconverting nanoparticles measurement. AlphaScreen® and other options are available on request. Bottom reading, shaking, temperature control and single or dual pump dispenser options can be included in all readers. Labrox offers a wide variety of tested and optimized filter pairs and dichroic mirrors to match your choice of detection modes.

The small footprint and light weight saves laboratory space and makes the unit easy to handle. All chosen measurement mode options (including bottom reading and fluorescence polarization) are automatically in use without the need to change or alter optical components. The instrument supports rapid reading of the full absorbance spectrum.

Single mode readers
Due to the modular design of the Labrox plate reader we also offer all measurement technologies as single mode readers. These readers may serve as single mode workhorses or as a gateway to a multimode reader later.

Bottom reading, shaking, temperature control and dispenser options can be included in all options. Labrox offers a wide variety of tested and optimized filter pairs and dichroic mirrors to our readers. All instruments in this reader family can later be upgraded at the factory to include any or all of the measurement technologies Labrox has available.

Labrox Counter
Do you need to test your preliminary product idea? Do you need a light source and detector? Do you need to know the number of photons emitted by your sample or amount of light in fluorescence units? All this is available in one complete off-the-shelf package. Labrox counter includes the LED light source of your choice, efficient collimation optics and photomultiplier detector. The counter can be operated independently or integrated to be part of your current instrumentation.

Labrox counters are available as detectors for Fluorescence or Time-Resolved Fluorescence.

Integri Plate Readers
Labrox Integri plate reader is specially designed for measuring one measurement technology using the Labrox Counter – a dedicated measurement head for one detection technology. The extremely small footprint and Labrox universal firmware software makes the reader an ideal choice for integrated systems. Labrox Integri is a perfect solution for OEM purposes, because the reader can be equipped with Labrox Counter or customized multi-label solution upon customer request.

Labrox is a privately owned Finnish instrument company, founded 2011. We specialize in design, development and manufacturing of multimode plate reader platforms, detection systems, modules and components.

Our vision is to offer our partners and users turnkey solutions from single technology modules to the highest quality multimode readers. Our long history with detection systems, mechanics, electronics, software and plate reader development principles guarantees that our customers will receive instrument solutions meeting the highest standards.

Labrox Oy is a privately owned Finnish company specialised in instrument design and manufacturing. In addition to the original resources initiated by the founders Labrox in 2011 received development grants from Tekes – the Finnish Funding Agency for Innovation.

Late 2012 an investment round was completed to ensure completion of development for the first line of products.

In the fall of 2015 Labrox successfully completed a second investment round in support of the company’s enlargement plans.
