NADAL® Mycoplasma test
The NADAL® Mycoplasma Test is a dehydrated culture medium-based assay for the screening, identification, enumeration and antibiotic susceptibility testing of UU (Ureaplasma spp.) and MH (Mycoplasma hominis) in human midstream urine and semen specimens, as well as endocervical and urethral swab specimens. Ureaplasma spp. (abbreviation UU) comprises the biovars of Ureaplasma urealyticum, which were renamed Ureaplasma parvum and Ureaplasma urealyticum and designated as separate species in 2002. The selection of antibiotics is partially based on CLSI (Clinical and Laboratory Standards Institute) recommendations.

Antibiotic resistance is becoming more and more prevalent due to the misuse of antibiotics, which seriously endanger human health. The key to the treatment and prevention of the spread of Mycoplasma is a timely and accurate diagnosis. Mycoplasma cultivation is currently recognised as a reliable method for diagnosing Mycoplasma infections.

NADAL® FOB75 test cassette
The NADAL® FOB75 Test is a rapid, visual immunoassay for the qualitative, presumptive detection of human haemoglobin in faecal specimens. The test is intended for use as an aid in the diagnosis of lower gastrointestinal (g. i.) pathologies.

Previously, commercially available FOB tests utilised the Guaiac Method, which requires a special diet prior to testing in order to avoid false positive and false negative results. The NADAL® FOB75 Test is designed to detect human haemoglobin in faecal samples. The test is based on an immunochemical method that improves specificity of detection of lower gastrointestinal disorders including colorectal cancers and adenomas without any dietary restrictions.

NADAL® Influenza A/B test cassette
The NADAL® Influenza A/B Test is a rapid chromatographic immunoassay for the qualitative detection of influenza virus type A and B antigens (nucleoproteins) extracted from nasal/nasopharyngeal swabs and nasal washes/aspirates of symptomatic patients. The test is intended as an aid in the rapid, differential diagnosis of influenza virus A and B infections. It is not intended for the detection of influenza C viral antigens. Negative results do not preclude influenza virus A or B infection and should be confirmed by cell culture or a molecular biological assay.

NADAL® Troponin I test cassette
The NADAL® Troponin I Test is a lateral flow chromatographic immunoassay for the qualitative detection of cardiac troponin I in human whole blood, serum or plasma samples. The test provides a preliminary test result as an aid in the diagnosis of myocardial infarction (MI).

Cardiac troponin I (cTnl) is a protein found in the cardiac muscle with a molecular weight of 22.5 kDa. Troponin I is a part of a troponin complex which also includes troponin T and troponin C. Along with tropomyosin, this protein complex forms the main component that regulates the calciumsensitive ATPase activity of actomyosin in striated skeletal and cardiac muscles. Following a cardiac injury, cardiac troponin I is released into the blood 4-6 hours after the onset of pain. The release pattern of cTnl is similar to CK-MB, but whilst the CK-MB level returns to normal after 72 hours, troponin I remains elevated for 6-10 days, thus providing a longer time window for the detection of cardiac injury.

Cathinone is one of the naturally occurring psychoactive agents of the African ‘khat’ plant and staff tree. It was first synthesised in the form of methcathinone which, along with all other cathinone derivatives (e.g. MDPV, mephedrone, methylone and methedrone), is a stimulant. They epitomise socalled ‘legal highs’, and were brought into circulation under the guise of ‘bath salts’ and ‘plant food’, though they have little to do with either. Their effects are similar to those of MDMA (ecstasy) and amphetamines. Consumption can be intranasal, oral or intravenous. The effects, as well as the consequences, range from euphoria to aggression in conjunction with hallucinations, and can even include brain damage. Using our substance tests, you can clearly identify cathinones in their various forms and colours.

The Drug-Screen Heroin (HRN) rapid test is a competitive immunoassay for the qualitative determination of the heroin-specific metabolite 6-monoacetylmorphine in human urine, with a cut-off of 10 ng/mL. It can be used as an aid in the initiation or monitoring of therapeutic measures. As an in-vitro diagnostic tool for professional use, the test provides a visual and preliminary analytical result.
