BIOLOX® Delta® ceramic hip products combine the stability of alumina with the strength of zirconia. When there is a crack propagation, zirconium oxide particles engage airbag-effect by absorbing impacting forces and platelet shaped crystals block the propagation crack, so as to increase the strength and toughening of the prosthesis.

PROFEMUR® Z Femoral Stem System
The PROFEMUR® Z femoral stem prosthesis is developed based on the successful experience of rectangular femoral stem prosthesis. This design achieves the axial stability through the dual taper geometry design, and the rectangular cross-section can obtain four-point fixation in the femoral medullary canal.
