TACMED™ UNIFORMED MEDICAL KIT 2ND GENERATION
The TacMed™ Uniformed Medical Kit (UMK) 2nd Generation builds upon the success of the first generation UMK. The UMK 2nd Gen greatly decreases the signature of the device over the original by moving the medical gear and pockets behind a flat panel, eliminating any imprinting under the officer’s duty shirt. In addition, the UMK 2nd Gen increases comfort and durability as it reduces the thickness of the device with a new material that stretches to the shape of the officer’s vest. The new design allows the UMK 2nd Gen to fit ANY concealed body armor carrier that utilizes hook and loop straps, plus the sides can be trimmed for a custom fit. The UMK 2nd Generation is designed to carry the SOF® Tactical Tourniquet-Wide with additional pockets designed to carry a set of chest seals, hemostatic agent, and the Esmark Bandage.

TACMED™ POCKET MEDICAL KIT
The TacMed™ Pocket Medical Kit, or PMK, provides the individual law enforcement officer or concerned citizen with the necessary medical equipment to immediately treat life threatening traumatic injuries. The SOF®TT-Wide included in the kit is rescue orange, making its application readily apparent for first responders. Also included are compressed gauze and an Esmark Bandage, which provide a wound packing and pressure dressing capability, in addition to the Beacon™ Chest Seal for treatment of any penetrating trauma. The PMK is designed to fit neatly into the chest pocket of a duty shirt, trauma plate pouch of a concealed armor carrier, or the back pocket of your jeans. So whether you wear a traditional uniform, external carrier system, or civilian clothes, you can be prepared and confident knowing you have a combat-proven tourniquet for any emergency situation.

TACMED™ PATROL TRAUMA RESPONSE SYSTEM
While each of these elements can be purchased separately, this allows you to purchase the complete system in one easy step.

For this system, the Patrol Trauma Response Kit is designed to be worn on the belt and contains your critical medical equipment where it is most needed. Components include the SOF® Tourniquet Gen 4 in Rescue Orange, Esmark Bandage, QuikClot Combat Gauze LE, Fox Chest Seal, and 1PR gloves. When not being used with the system, the Patrol Trauma Response Kit can be worn individually on the belt or on any MOLLE platform.

The Pouch-Attaching Strap has a 1.5″ buckle that allows the Patrol Trauma Response Kit to accept the Patrol Rifle Response Kit.

The Patrol Rifle Response Kit can hold (2) 30 round M4/AR15-style magazines externally, allowing you to effectively address the threat, and contains further medical capabilities internally. These components include the SOF® Tactical Tourniquet Wide in Black, 4″ OLAES® Modular Bandage flat-packed, 2-pack Beacon Chest Seal, NPA with Lube, 5.5″ Trauma Shears, Face Shield, TacMed™Combat Casualty Tag, and 1PR gloves. BLEEDING CONTROL KIT FOR SCHOOLS
These Tramedic® Bleeding Control Kits contain the necessary items to control serious bleeding and prevent further blood loss for a victim suffering a traumatic injury. The compact kit has a well laid-out interior that allows easy access to the components inside. It can be easily stored in places such as a classroom cabinet, desk drawer, or backpack.

The included instructions prioritize which injuries to treat first with the appropriate components. The instructions detail how to treat massive spurting blood loss with a tourniquet and how to treat oozing dark red blood with direct pressure using the gauze and hemostatic agent.

This exact kit is currently implemented into every public school in the state of South Carolina. The Tramedic® Bleeding Control Kit was selected in a team effort by state partners including Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System, the Medical University of South Carolina, Palmetto Health, and Grand Strand Health. They partnered with the state’s HPP Advisory Council and South Carolina DHEC to facilitate the project. The Bleeding Control Kits are in place for the 2018-2019 school year, with more than 19,000 kits being distributed throughout the state, and teachers and school officials will receive training on their use.

With the purchase of a Bleeding Control Kit, you will receive access to the Tramedic® Training Portal, where videos detail the components of your kit. The videos are designed to be viewed by users of all ages, including school age children. Not only are they informative and educational, but they could save a life. Additionally, access to the training site allows for a training manager, such as a school resource officer or nurse, to assign videos to personnel and staff as well as track their progress.

TRAMEDIC® WALL KIT
Largest of the Tramedic® family, the Tramedic® Wall Kit is designed for use in industrial facilities, educational facilities, sporting venues, and areas where a large number of people are present. Housed in a sturdy aluminum sleeve and secured with serialized tamper evident seals, the kit can be kept in view of the public or stored in an out-of-the-way place where trained responders can gain access. The removable soft case has a top-mounted easy-carry handle as well as adjustable shoulder straps.

The kit is organized with three divider shelves and two pockets. The dividers allow for maximum organization even after kits have been removed while the pockets provide secure storage of critical items such as trauma shears and personal protective equipment.

The individual sub-kits are easily identifiable by number, color code, text, and icons. The kits are also bilingual with English text prominently displayed and supported by Spanish sub-titles.

The center of the Tramedic® System is the removable decision tree or flow chart that is attached to the center of the soft case. This chart is your guide to prioritizing treatments and selecting which kit to use in a given situation. The back side of the chart, printed with high visibility yellow and the word CASUALTY, can be used as a signal or marker to guide rescue personnel to those in the greatest need of help.

All sub-kits contain individual instructions for the included components both by text and graphics. The instructions also prioritize the component to be used first in the kit, and each component is marked to clearly link the corresponding instruction. By bringing the instructions down to the simplest level possible, the number of potential effective responders is greatly increased.

With the Tramedic® Wall Kit, you will receive 50 licenses to our training portal, where videos will detail the components of each sub-kit. Designed to be viewed by users of all ages, these videos are not only informative and educational, but they could save a life. Access to the training site allows facility training managers to assign videos

About Us

Company details
Tactical Medical Solutions® is a global leading developer and manufacturer of pre-hospital medical gear for the tactical and civilian world. We were founded in 2003 by a Special Forces medic who created the SOF® Tactical Tourniquet. Our tourniquet is now one of only two windlass tourniquets approved for use by the Department of Defense, approved for use by the Committee on Tactical Combat Casualty Care, and is the tourniquet of choice for the American Red Cross. While our original purpose was supporting the military, environments changed and TacMed progressed in to servicing law enforcement, fire, EMS, rescue, and now even civilians. As a result, our product line has expanded greatly and is constantly evolving.

We currently have over 2,000 products available and a presence in 70 countries around the world. Here at home, we service 7 of the top 10 police departments, including the NYPD and LAPD, as well as major fire and EMS agencies. Seeing a need to increase casualty management capabilities for our customers, we created the brand Rescue Craft, which combines casualty care and rescue into safe and simple equipment for rescue personnel. We also service civilian audiences such as all municipal buildings in the city of Dallas, professional sports stadiums including the Miami Dolphins and Washington Wizards and Capitals, Marriott hotels, churches, and public and private schools across the country through Tramedic®, our line of trauma kits developed for the everyday citizen. In addition to providing all of these customers equipment designed specifically for them, we provide kit customization and a complete knowledge management system that offers education and training to match.

We want our customers to have better than we had. TacMed was founded on experience that is used to improve existing products and develop new ones. We have various backgrounds within the company ranging from military to law enforcement to fire, rescue, and medical sales, and that knowledge and experience permeates in to our products. We strive to be a true partner with all of our customers, no matter how big or small, by providing high-quality comprehensive solutions that work best for them. We’re proud to say that when customers think of TacMed, they think uncompromising – uncompromising commitment to delivering top-quality product, tactical knowledge, customized training, and reliability in the field. In critical moments, when uncertainty abounds, TacMed product is the one sure thing.
