Movesense Sensor Platform
Movesense is an open development environment for fast and cost-effective creation of wearable sensor solutions. It is developed by the Finnish sports watch expert Suunto. The functionality of the sensor can be customized for each use case and the sensor can be custom branded.

Movesense sensor can track motion and physiological parameters in health, wellbeing, sports, research, and more. It can be applied for both recreational and professional use. The programmable sensor is small and lightweight (10g), water and shock resistant, and connects to a mobile phone or another receiver via BLE radio. A version with CE Medical approval will be available.

The platform includes different developer tools such as code samples for the sensor and for mobile, a desktop simulator, and a mobile app for collecting raw data. The mobile app source code is available for use case specific customization. Various attaching accessories such as wrist band, clothing clip, surface mount, and a connector for textile integration are available.
